We are proud to have hosted many of the winners of the Beldih Club All India National Ranking Junior Tennis Championship Series 2023, which was held at the sand clay courts of the Beldih Club.
During the tournament, we had the pleasure of hosting the winners of the Boys Singles, Girls Singles, and Girls Doubles categories, who chose to stay with us for their comfortable stay in the city. We extend our heartiest congratulations to all the winners who have showcased their skills and sportsmanship in the tournament.
Shounak Chatterjee, the top-seeded player from Bengal, won the Boys Singles Under 18 title.
In the Girls Singles Under 18 category, Bengal’s Aleena Farid took almost no time to outclass Bihar’s Prashansa Shrivastava by a clean 6-0,6-2. In the Girls Doubles Under 18 event, second-seeded Aleena Farid and Kinza Shaikh of West Bengal claimed the title as they won the final match against top-seeded Prashansa Shrivasta of Bihar and Saumya Chatterjee of West Bengal.
Our unlimited breakfast was a hit among the youth, and they feasted on aloo paratha, cheese omelette (double), and other delicious treats. Our pet mascot, Milo, was also a big hit with the young athletes, and they said a special goodbye to him before departing.
We are proud to have been a part of this exciting event and to have had the opportunity to host some of the talented young athletes. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors and hope to see them again soon.
